Recently a friend suggested I look into Tower of Guns and, well, I already pre-ordered it just to try out the early demo. While the site claims it to be only about 20% complete, it's already showing huge promise. A mix of twitchy FPS and a nice bit of roguelike (yes I am obsessed with roguelikes) sprinkled with weird guns, random power-ups and absurd enemies, Tower of Guns is a fast-paced, sit-down-and-shoot-shit experience that I'm looking forward to getting frustrated with. Check out the trailer below, or just pre-order for $5 and try the demo (although it is a development build so be aware it is by no means a sample of the final game). But whatever you do, make sure to vote for it on Greenlight.
Get it Greenlit: Tower of Guns
-Dayv
I've gotten into the habit lately of roaming around the Steam Greenlight pages, hopping from one amazing concept to the next, often with wide-eyed stares and bated breath (and perhaps some drooling). It's come to my attention that a LOT of these up-and-coming indie titles deserve recognition and encouragement, so I've decided, entirely for altruistic reasons and with absolutely no ulterior motives, that I might point out when a particular title catches my fancy, so that, should a reader be likewise interested, they might immediately vote for it on Steam Greenlight so I don't have to wait so damn long to play it...er, so that we all don't have to wait so damn long to play it.
